Go tell this town I've built them all their coffins; as for this face, best to be forgotten. I'm a lazy hipster, I'll make you sick, and all you need is love. I want to live where soul meets body while I've got an earthquake on my mind. I hold sunlight and swallow fireflies, and it makes me want to cry; I've got birds in my ears, and a devil on my shoulder. You may say that I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. No one knows what goes on behind closed eyes, so I will take what's mine, create what God would never design. You're so cute when you're slurring your speech. There's something deep inside that keeps my faith alive. They will see us waving from such great heights, 'come down now' they'll say...but we'll stay. Letting go is the hardest thing I know. Those tire tracks zig-zag your torso like a devil's self-portrait. It's the time of the season. Razor cut like a smile, straight through: soaked in blood, only to be sterilized.
